Ways We Gather

The Five Gatherings of the Disciple-Making Collective

X-Groups

Small closed groups of 3-6 meeting to have spiritual conversations and grow together.

This is where we provide a space for people to explore spirituality and come to know Jesus at their own pace. Leaders are trained to ask great questions and tell relevant stories that lead to faith.

Discipling Communities

Open groups of up to 30 meeting for three purposes – Spending Time Together, Growing in Faith Together, and Sharing in Common Mission together.

We grow by studying scripture. A common mission could be specific, like rescuing trafficked women, or general, like helping each other parent well.

Simple Church

A simple church is a group of people identifying as a church together and practicing the nine behaviors of the New Testament Church together – fellowshipping, praying, worshipping, communion, baptizing, studying scripture, sharing the Gospel, giving, appointing leaders, and experiencing signs and wonders.

Training Groups

A closed group meeting for a set period of time in order to build skills and add tools to a Disciple-maker’s toolbelt.

Examples of training topics are things like Spiritual Conversations, Gospel Sharing, Group Leadership, Network Leadership, etc…

Inspiration and Retreat Gatherings

These less regular gatherings are designed so leaders don’t feel alone in their efforts. Corporate worship, training and retreat are three components of these gatherings.
